I had a Zoom chat with Traci and Shane near the beginning of Lahaina's 'reset', and read their book. I agree with Traci's increasing suspicion that something else is going on as well ... possibly technology that is weaponizing a natural but potentially cataclysmic weakening of the Earth's magnetosphere, something linked with unusual patterns in solar activity and/or shifts of magnetic north.
Record-breaking heatwaves are pushing parts of Japan to the brink, particularly damaging in Kumamoto where the recent earthquake hit. Some people have been without running water, electricity, or air conditioning for days, pushing 40ºC, and the first deaths of heat stroke among the victims are now coming in. Odd, and not, that Japanese mainstream media is largely deaf, dumb, and blind to record-breaking heat waves and fires in North America and large parts of Europe.
Back in the day, I had spent 3 summers working for the U.S. Forest Service along the Mogollon Rim country of Arizona as a TTO (Tanker Trunk Operator) for wildfires, but also worked along with elite Hotshots and have been heli-dropped on fires.
Among my handful of government certifications, we were never once warned against parking so close to a fire line that could melt the engine block or glass windows ... so I suspected something was unnatural about the Lahaina fire from the get-go.
And then, the police, 'accidentally' funneling the citizenry back into the fire and the lack-luster support for the victims is beyond scandal. It has now been about 3 years since the fire, and as of last month, victims are just beginning to receive 'notices' of impending financial compensation. Josh Green tactics.
I hate to pick on terminology, but... Hi, Steve! ... I don't have a solid feeling that "fighting," and I know it sure as hell FEELS like one, is going to be what we need... We DO outnumber the Nasties by a very significant number (they like not to think about that); we ARE catching on to the Evil Plan, more and more, and while the Bad Guys have these weapons, and I don't doubt the lethality of either these Evil People, or of their weaponry, I am becoming more and more "tuned-in" to my own senses, including a kind of "extra-sensory" sense of the general "flow" of things...
I will say this, too-- the Nasties LIE so much and so often that it's hard to believe anything they say, but they DO enjoy torture, and they DO enjoy killing. I don't have all the answers YET, lol, but I suspect that what resolves this mess is going to be a General Enlightenment, or something like that... We think the Earth is just a big rock we live on and love... What if Earth has a Will, and the Power of the Divine? Even if I don't know details on this kind of thing (who does?), it seems entirely feasible to me that -- don't laugh at me, but you can laugh NEAR me-- Earth, and the Beings that live here, could ADAPT, physically... Well, it may be magical thinking, but from what I've been learning, and from what feels like a possible outcome, even if it's a stretch... Well, you get the idea, and that's about all I have... Maybe THIS is why the poles are shifting, if they are shifting...
In full agreement with you Word Herder, though I am guessing with the way these A.I. Data Sentinels are going up, things will get worse before they get better.
I tend to bark, if not write, metaphorically ... and whether it is 'fight', 'prosper', or 'love' ... more layers beneath those howls and echoes than essays can explain.
I think we are both lining up with the 'Gaia Hypothesis' ... not so different from the 'spiritual naturalism' of the likes of Spinoza, Einstein, Jung, and those crazy Taoists. We doggies are only provisionally separated from the environment, and deep down, we can feel the forest in our bones.
Now that I am getting back into the saddle again, I will soon post a couple of other short, but interesting ways the 'love-fight' is going on here in Japan.
No human being knows the degree of contempt that I feel for Fauci and his fucking ilk. Fantasies entertained of what might be done to Richard Ramirez pale in comparison to those contemplated of that Jesuit fuck.
He's a psychopath, simply put. It's nothing to do with religion, or even politics, at the core, because what psychopaths want more than anything else is the THRILL of torture, and the THRILL of murder. These Globby List types are not like the rest of us, they are broken toys. There is no "fixing" them, they are what they are, in my view... (pathologically evil, but maybe not ALLLL of them, still...) I wonder what Fauci does these days to satisfy his need to hurt others... back to the puppies? smfh
There's no salvation for genetically predetermined Cluster B types. Though not a particular fan of LG, 'Papa Yuck Yuck' was born that way ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wV1FrqwZyKw
Hi NJ. Yep. That is among many 'interesting' anecdotes and opinions coming out of this hearing ... and particularly the sophistry of Josh Green, the current governor of Hawaii. His name came up on my radar a few years ago for two reasons ... his handling of that 'natural fire' that conveniently hollowed out the working class of Lahaina, and Hawaii topping at least one list of the most corrupt states in America.
As for Hawaii, I think one variable that put it near the top of the sack is that there are now more native Hawaiians living in Nevada than in Hawaii. Gentrification on steroids.
Apologies for not responding to your recent post yet.
Great post! But the more I thought about it, the more tongue-tied ... un finger-twisted, I became. Will be getting to that soon, but out of necessity and chops, will probably be brief.
Up until about a half year or so ago, my FB account had a bit over 5k followers, and I was a member of maybe 80 or so dissident groups, sharing messages mostly about the plandemic. After several stints in 'FB' jail (no posting), one day FB contacted me to claim that someone had hijacked my home page and asked if I wanted to delete that page. I said yes, and they did a bait-and-switch, causing me to delete my homepage. Unrecoverable. Years of posts, long comments, and membership to those dissident groups, gone in an instant.
Decades ago, I had a computer and most of my older files go down. I felt that same despair for weeks. But as I gradually gathered up steam, I started from scratch, built a new low-profile homepage, and have only about 50 'friends' and family on it.
You are welcome anytime ... but I just use FB for browsing now.
Hmm ... as of today, I can't even access chat messages on FB and iCloud seems to be showing an error message. Wondering if I (we) are under yet another attack?
Facebook didn’t just delete an account - they vaporized years of your life. Thousands of posts, countless conversations, your connections to dozens of groups, your audience… gone via an “mistake.” Yeah, like Nagasaki was a mistake. Fucking inexcusable.
The arrogance of these tech shitheads never ceases to amaze me. They get people to invest years documenting their lives, building communities, and generating the very content that makes the platform valuable, then fucking screw the very users responsible for its success (not to sell the DOD or CIA short, but I digress…).
I can only imagine the sick feeling in the pit of your stomach when you realized it was unrecoverable.
I’ve lost writing before, and it’s hard to explain to people that you’re not just mourning files - you’re mourning the precious time and energy spent composing it. The invaluable comments and insights attendant to the work. Portions of your life that can never be recreated because the moment that produced them is gone forever.
That said, there’s that old saw that you can’t keep a good man down, and another that the cream always rises to the top.
Clichés endure because there’s usually a stubborn kernel of truth behind them. Facebook may have erased your archive, but it didn’t erase the prehensile mind that created it.
So while they can wipe a page, they can’t delete experience, insight, conviction, or the ability to build an audience all over again. Thankfully, said qualities are portable.
The platform wasn’t the source of your voice - you were. If anything, your willingness to dust yourself off and start over says far more about your character than any follower count ever could.
The fact that you had the grit to start over says a lot about you. Frankly, you shouldn’t have had to.
No rush whatsoever on responding to my post. After what you’ve been through, you’ve already paid enough tribute to the asshole gods of Silicon Valley.
I’ll look forward to hearing your thoughts whenever the digital overlords decide to stop tripping over their own shoelaces.
Sending you a Hug from the Far Side of the Whirled, Steve. ^_^
Hope you're well and holding fast. I'm in transition (when am I NOT? lol) and hope to be all moved to a new thing by the end of the month. From that battlefront I will bark angry tirades to the trees.
Yeah, life and death and everything in between have a way of catching up with us. I often wonder how the most prolific writers find the time, and guessing they have their own demons driving 'em.
I hope your transition goes well, you make a nice circle in a comfy bunch of grass, and settle in for some howls of warning, mourning, and laughter.
Good to hear from you again. I feel like dogs-of-a-fur meeting up with you again, though I can't help but giggle at humans doin' that doggie greeting (oh, I smell you had coffee this morning!). LOL.

Hey Dean.
We share the same sentiment.
But you are a master at articulating it.
Cheers, buddy.
Stay cool — and blazing hot when the situation calls for it.
You are no less adept - perhaps even more so - but I’ll greedily accept the compliment. 🤪

Massachusetts, NY, NJ, MN, WA, OR, AZ, CT, IL, et al. want a word about that claim of most corrupt
I know WA is for sure in that list...
You've now got me wondering who makes these lists, and how? We could put 'em all in a sack, kick it, and hit the right one. 🤣
Poetic beauty
We’re gonna need a bigger sack
And a bigger stick
Might be easier to just give that sack the Dick Cheney waterboard renditioning.
Or was it his ELF (Evil Little Friend) Donald “Rummie” Rumsfeld?
Hard to keep up with that list as well.
LOL. ELF ... I will remember that one.
As for Hawaii, I think one variable that put it near the top of the sack is that there are now more native Hawaiians living in Nevada than in Hawaii. Gentrification on steroids.
Off topic, sir, but did you close your FB account?
